Nothing can give you more joy than a good trek and some of your favorite songs. Here I am presenting the list of a few songs that hit differently when we are in the woods. Just take your portable speaker, hang it through your bag, and play these songs while climbing for the destination!

Now there are a few artists who have a voice with a lot of depth and clarity and when they sing, it's like there is nothing that can stop you from going into the meditation state. Mohit Chauhan, Ankit Tiwari, Shaan, etc. Here is my blog about “Artists whose voice hit differently in the woods”, you can check that out and Now enjoy the songs. (I recommend you to plug in your headphones now, and irrespective of the place you are, close your eyes and enjoy the songs)

Mai Ni Meriye — Mohit Chauhan

Mai Ni Meriye — Mohit Chauhan

Mai Ni Meriye, this song is amazing. I heard it for the first time during my first trek to Kheerganga. The song has serenity, with the meditating voice of Mohit Chauhan.

Even if you are at your home, Just grab on a nice pair of Noice canceling headphones and play this song, it will make you feel like you in a camp sitting beside a river.

Mohit Chauhan himself is a great fan of Himachal Pradesh and hence there is a sense of personal love in this song.

Phir Se Udd Chala — Rockstar

Phir Se Udd Chala — Rockstar

The movie Rockstar, I don’t think there is any song in this movie that I am not in love with. The entire movie shows Ranbir Kapoor as someone without a home and he tries to find himself, and eventually finds singing as a way to express himself. All songs of Ranbir are sung by Mohit Chauhan.

The song is extremely calming and soothing for the soul. I will say it takes you to another level.

Banjarey — Fugly

Banjarey — Fugly

Four friends on a road trip and that is when this song plays. I guess that is what makes this song so special. Visiting Leh — Ladakh is on the bucket list of every traveler in India. Combine that experience with your gang and Bullet takes it to the next level. And this song is the personification of that.

Listening to this song makes me wanna plan the next trip sooner. (Damn you COVID-19)

Tu hai ke nahi — Roy

Tu hai ke nahi — Roy

Once again, Ranbir Kapoor trying to figure out who he is.

I mean being a traveler is by far the only role I like Ranbir playing. Be it Roy, Yeh jawaani hai deewani, Rockstar. If Ranbir is being a hippie in a movie, the songs are going to the best. PERIOD.

Sooraj dooba hai — Roy

Sooraj dooba hai — Roy

An extremely energetic party song. When this plays, trust me, it is very hard to stop moving your body with the beat.

Sooraj dooba hai yaaro,

do guth nashe ke maaro,

gam tum bhula do saare sansaar ke!

I mean these lyrics don’t even need any music.

Roobaroo — Rang de Basanti

Roobaroo — Rang de Basanti

Rang de Basanti, a movie about college friends. This is one of the movies which set the standard for friendships even for today.

Although the movie also has good party songs, “Masti ki pathshala”, this one is a peaceful song. A meditating one, and when played in the woods, it vibes extremely well!

Patakha Guddi — Highway

Patakha Guddi — Highway

Alia Bhatt playing a village girl, feeling actual local India, feeling the wind, hitchhiking on the trucks, and buses.

It seems watching the song video, she is experiencing everything for the first time. and trying to soak in her as much as she can.

Even though I do not understand the lyrics of the song, the Beat, voice, everything vibes with the mountains and adds up to the trekking experience.

Dil chahta hai — Dil chahta hai

Dil chahta hai — Dil chahta hai

Another movie that set the benchmark for the friendship for the generations to come. The story of three friends, going from college to learning about life and growing up. Facing a lot of Ups and Downs but being there in the hour of need.

The song video shows the three on a road trip. I guess when this was shot, the concept of road trips would be new and they portrayed it up to the mark! And this is followed by Zindagi naa Milegi Dobara recently.

Illahi — Yeh Jawaani hai deewani

Illahi — Yeh Jawaani hai deewani

Yeh Jawaani hai deewani, this was the movie that promoted travel in India like no other film. Just like 3 idiots brought out the photographer in us, this movie brought out the traveler in us. Everyone wants to be Bunny.

And being a hippie is the type of role that perfectly suits Ranbir Kapoor. No matter where you are, this song makes you realize that you are on a long journey, that is life!

Dil mere — The Local Train

Dil mere — The Local Train

Comparatively a new band, The Local Train has released a number of music videos on YouTube. This one, “Dil Mere” is the one to which I relate the most. The depth of this song, lyrics, instruments, and the voice is top-notch, and played while traveling brings out a totally new flavor!

Udd Gaye — Ritviz

Udd Gaye — Ritviz

Another one the new DJs. Ritviz has been creating top-level EDM. Be it this one, or Liggi, or Sage, etc. I don’t know how to explain this but there is something about his voice combined with the music. Feels like both are made for each other. No doubt Ritviz is a very talented guy.

Latest trending song

But nothing can beat the latest trending party music of the time!

I am telling you there is no better feeling that you and your gang dancing together on the latest Bollywood hit party song and making videos.

Conclusions

So, that is it for now, I know I have missed a lot of songs. There are too many songs and too many artists whose voice does the magic. And one blog post cannot simply cover them all, but these are a few that you must play. I will soon be back with part 2 of this post!
